Our facility has been a part of the Chillicothe community since 1964 when it first opened as Parkhill Nursing Home. A 1995 expansion of the building increased our resident capacity to 110. In 1997 Heritage Enterprises purchased the facility from Methodist Hospital.

Located along the Illinois River Valley, our facility offers a peaceful setting, including a garden area with a gazebo and walkways. We provide many amenities for our residents, including activities for high and low functioning individuals, Bingo, weekly outside entertainment, and pastoral and church services. An especially unique aspect of our facility is our admittance of residents 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, whether the need is short or long-term. We are pleased to provide wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.

Heritage Health - Chillicothe is a member of the Illinois Health Care Association and the American Healthcare Association and is a strong supporter of the Alzheimer's Association.
